Our Five Key Elements

Why Tutoring Matters: Giving Your Child the Edge in Maths & English.
As a parent, you want the best for your child — especially when it comes to their education. In today’s fast-paced and competitive learning environment, it’s easy for students to fall behind or feel overwhelmed, particularly in foundational subjects like Maths and English. These aren’t just academic requirements — they’re life skills that shape confidence, critical thinking, and future success. If your child is struggling, lacks motivation, or simply needs an extra push to reach their full potential, tutoring might be the missing piece.

Empowering Minds, Shaping Futures: Your Path to Success Starts Here

What we provide here at Australian Direct Tutoring differs from traditional “tutoring” services. We are an education company that provides individualised, one-on-one education that is the perfect addition to what a classroom teacher provides!

So, what does 8 minutes versus 2 hours mean? The average class session a school runs for 60 minutes. There are, on average, 28 students in each class. If the teacher were to spend at least ‘some’ time with each student, 60 minutes divided up by seeing 28 students, each student would get about 2 minutes one-on-one with the teacher. Now, in high school, each student has the same class 3 to 4 times per week. That means that the teacher will see that individual student for 2 minutes, 3 to 4 times per week: 8 minutes per week. The rest of a student’s learning is done vicariously through group or whole-class interaction.

We want our students to benefit from our diverse range of educators who are determined to guide student learning with current and relevant pedagogical information, including information developed by leading experts, Education Queensland, and the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority.
